I wanted to write this really quick, it is late, but before I go to bed I wanted to share a cute moment from tonight.
Hannah was nursing before bed and took a break momentarily to grab a Dora book that was behind her head (Molly was "reading" to David for bed time) and pulled it down. It fell in front of her face and I said "Where's Hannah?" She giggled and pulled it out from in front of her face. I responded "HI!" and she put it back.... repeat for about 5 minutes before she was so tired that she finished nursing and then went to sleep in her room.
She is becoming a really fun person to know.
I am in love... again!

Hannah's first bike ride
We learned a lot of lessons today...
No bike rides near nap time. Hannah needs to ride on Mommy's bike... more room to look around.
Hannah doesn't fall asleep in the car, but the bike is her nap area.
All in all, a great experience.
Molly was so excited to share one of her favorite activities with Hannah. I will attach pics soon.

P.S. Molly had grown out of her first helmet... when did that happen?

Things I want to remember forever...
Today was a tough day and we have had many tough nights lately with Hannah. Not sure why, but she has had a high spiky fever; it's probably the 2 new teeth she is working on. We hope for normalcy soon.
In the midst of Hannah being fussy, short on sleep (Dave, Hannah and myself), Molly had a very whiny day and I lost it. I put myself on time out and did errands alone. In my time away I cleared my head and realized that as hard as things seem to be now, there are things I never want to forget about the girls and their development. Here are a few:
The look on Molly's face as she tries to get away with something.
Hannah babbling.
The look on Hannah's face as she accomplishes standing up on her own.
The look on Hannah's face as she learns about gravity... the hard way.
Molly trying to teach Hannah about Dora, or Princesses, or Thomas, etc.
Molly serving us "dinner."
Reading to Molly as she sits on my lap on a lazy Saturday morning.
Molly needing to be cuddled
The first time Molly said "I love you"
The first time Molly called my name.
Wanting Molly to talk.
Hannah enjoying Veggies.
Molly eating a balanced meal that doesn't include PB sandwich.
Molly loving PB sandwiches.
Hannah cuddled in my arms falling asleep.
Hannah cuddled in Davids arms.
Hannah cooing in bed in the morning.
Molly's sleepy head after a long nap.
The lust Molly has for learning to read.
The determination Molly has for learning to write
Hannah's determined look when trying to walk, Her smile when she takes a step.
Most of all I hope I never forget
Dave's expression watching the girls play.
My love of my family.

The new play structure
Life has been busy
Well since the last update life has not settled down at all. Both girls are well now. Hannah has 6 teeth and beginning to insist on feeding herself soft solids rather than be fed chunky purees. It was shocking to see so early, but what ever works! Molly is trying to learn to whistle because Hannah started. Molly is growing quickly as an emerging reader and getting quite good at letter phoneme recognition and putting them together. She is on the verge of reading and it is so amazing to see.
She is a wonderful big sister. Last weekend I woke up to find her in Hannah's crib with her playing. I was startled to say the least. Her preschool hosted a Mother's Day brunch on Thursday. I found coverage at work and went. It was really cute, the best part was the look on Molly's face when I walked in. She was so surprised.
Today Hannah taught me a very valuable lesson... don't turn your back on elasti-girl

It could have been worse... she also had beets for dinner. Carrots was bad enough.
This lead to Exhibit B
